Optimus wins 2 Gold, Judges Award at 2006 Promax & BDA Conference
 
The design and graphics team from Optimus left for New York knowing they would be picking up 2 Gold Awards and were delighted to be honored with a "Judges' Choice" award during the June 21st presentation.

In the category of Art Direction & Design: PSA, the Gold was awarded to Optimus for their work with DDB Chicago and the Partnership for a Drug Free America.  The piece selected was part of a campaign designed by Optimus with a treatment of transparent sheets of vibrant color overlapping and sliding into frame similar to transparencies placed on a school overhead projector.

And in the category of Potluck, the Gold went to the 2005 AICP Midwest Show Open created by the entire graphics department of Optimus.  The four-minute piece was made to look like hand-operated shadow puppets.  Over 35 companies' logos were animated through four different environments.  The overall look and style of the work impressed the BDA judges enough to be singled out during the show as a "Judges' Choice" for it's originality and uniqueness of vision.

Optimus is proud to be recognized by the BDA and is honored to be amongst the highest caliber work in international broadcast design.
