OPTIMUS ELEVATES WEST COAST INDUSTRY PRESENCE WITH PRESTIGIOUS EXECUTIVE HIRE

CHICAGO (March 06, 2006) - Optimus has hired Therese Hunsberger, an established and respected post-production veteran of nearly 20 years, as Executive Producer of its Santa Monica, CA office. In her new role, Hunsberger will oversee all operations of the California office.
"The Santa Monica office will flourish under Therese's leadership. Her comprehensive experience and knowledge of the Los Angeles advertising community makes her a perfect fit for our executive producer role. Not only will our client-base grow through her strong creative partnerships, but our west coast talent will do very well under Therese's infectious enthusiasm and work ethic," President Tom Duff said.
Previously, Hunsberger served as executive producer at post-house FilmCore Editorial and has worked on award-winning, recognizable work such as the recent R&R Partners "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" campaign and advertisements for Campbell-Ewald (Chevrolet), Deutsch LA (Expedia), Element 79 (Gatorade), Martin Agency (Geico), McCann San Francisco (MSN), Publicis (T-Mobile), Saatchi and Saatchi (Toyota), Team One (Lexus) and Wieden & Kennedy (Nike and Diet Coke). Additionally, her work has earned awards from the Association of Independent Creative Editors (AICE) for best editing and a number of Clios.
"I'm grateful that my experience allows me to bring valuable insight to the table and excited to take on this new challenge," Hunsberger said. "My goal is to get the Santa Monica office on the map by further developing and plugging our talented staff while taking advantage of this location's enormous growth potential in terms of business and staff."
Hunsberger was drawn to her new position at Optimus by the post-house's culture. "Working at an independently owned editorial boutique with a reputation as strong as Optimus' really allows the staff to focus on the creative side of its business," she said.
Before her 14 years with FilmCore Editorial, Hunsberger was at Warren Dewey Sound Design as producer. She also serves on the International AICE Board of Directors.
