| Optimus Welcomes Shira Ankori to Editorial Staff Leading Post House Adds to Roster of Talented Editors. Optimus has hired Shira Ankori as the newest addition to the editorial staff. Ankori will be based in L.A., but also available out of Chicago. Her hiring brings the total number of Optimus editors to 13, including four based in L.A. "Adding a talent like Shira to the Optimus team is significant," said Optimus President Tom Duff. "We look for quality people first and foremost, and Shira is that, for sure. She combines superior creative skill with exuberance for life that is second to none. We feel very fortunate to have her as a part of our family." Ankori comes to Optimus from Red Car Los Angeles, where her clients included Sony, Toyota, Wal-Mart, and the L.A. Times. Prior to her four years with Red Car L.A., she spent four years in the company's New York City office. Her 10 year editing career began with a two year stint at the Pi Edit Company in New York City. "There is so much to be excited about," said Ankori. "The team at Optimus really has great insight into every aspect of our rapidly-changing industry and technology and there's also an incredible sense of family. I'm thrilled to join the staff and take on new challenges, while continuing to turn out top-notch work." A New York City native, Ankori is a graduate of Boston University's College of Communications where she majored in film. In addition to her career as an editor, Ankori also works as a voice over actor. She also has an extensive background in dance, having studied at the world-renowned School of American Ballet and famed High School of Performing Arts in New York City.
